Launch of Air Inter Iles regional flights to Marie-Galante

Air Inter Iles strengthens its regional presence with the highly anticipated launch of its new connection between Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP) and Grand-Bourg de Marie-Galante (GBJ), starting March 31, 2025. This regular route, operated with new and comfortable aircraft, offers a fast, practical and high-end alternative to reach the island of a hundred windmills, whether for a day or a weekend.

Up to 10 weekly flights in peak season

With up to 10 weekly rotations planned during the high season, this new route allows great flexibility. Ideal for short stays: leave from 7 AM from Pointe-à-Pitre and return at 5:50 PM from Marie-Galante, making the most of your day on site. Spontaneous weekends or planned escapes, everything becomes simpler.

An official inauguration

On February 20, 2025, the Marie-Galante aerodrome hosted an official ceremony marking the return of commercial flights to the island after more than two decades of absence. This inauguration took place in the presence of Guy Losbar, president of the Departmental Council, Maryse Etzol, mayor of Grand-Bourg and president of the Community of communes of Marie-Galante, as well as Vincent Beauvarlet, president of Air Inter Iles. The event was an opportunity to highlight the importance of this new connection to open up the island and boost its tourism economy.

A comfortable journey with a modern fleet

The route will be operated by three TECNAM P2012 STOL aircraft of the latest generation, designed for short journeys with premium comfort: spacious cabin, ergonomic seats and bright interior for a pleasant flight experience. This system is completed by four St Barth Executive aircraft, guaranteeing reliability and service continuity, even in high season.

Other destinations on the horizon

Marie-Galante is only the first step in a broader deployment. Air Inter Iles plans to soon extend its network to other Caribbean destinations, such as Saint-Martin. All with the operational excellence of St Barth Executive: exemplary punctuality, quality of service and proximity to passengers.
